Anna Grace Phelan, a young TikTok star who bravely shared her journey with stage 4 brain cancer, passed away on Friday, as confirmed in a message posted on her TikTok account.
She was 19 years old.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” her family shared in a heartfelt statement.

Phelan, from Jefferson, Georgia, kept over 100,000 followers updated on her health, with her videos reaching millions of viewers.
“So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and witnessed her powerful testimony of faith,” a post on her account read.
She graduated high school in May 2024, and just days before beginning her freshman year of college, she was diagnosed with an inoperable stage 4 malignant brain tumor, according to a GoFundMe page set up on her behalf.
In August, she turned to TikTok to share a medical update, explaining that she had begun experiencing a range of symptoms — starting with numbness on the left side of her face and in her right leg that lasted for several weeks. An MRI later revealed a lesion on her brain, which was biopsied to determine whether it was cancerous.
In a video update, Phelan shared that on September 5, she was officially diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing brain tumor.
“This is definitely the hardest news I’ve ever received by all means,” she said in the video. “This is not easy. I’m just going to trust in the Lord and try to keep pushing forward.”
She continued to document her medical journey on TikTok, sharing everything from her radiation and steroid treatments to physical therapy sessions.
In one of her final updates, posted on May 14, Phelan revealed that her condition had worsened and her tumor had grown into an inoperable area.
“It would take a miracle to fix me here on earth, but I’m not giving up yet,” she said.
According to her obituary, Phelan was working as a receptionist at Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology.
She is survived by her parents, William “Buddy” and Nadine Phelan, her brother, Harper David Phelan, and other loved ones. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday at Galilee Christian Church, where Anna was a member.
“Thank you for the countless thousands of prayers for healing and peace,” her family said in a statement.
