Preston Ordone, the 2-year-old son of Katelynn and Jaelen Ordone known as the “Okay Baby,” has died after he was in a car accident on April 24.
Louisiana State Police shared in a press release that the vehicle Preston was traveling in, a 2011 Ford F-150, “veered off the roadway to the right and struck a tree,” noting that the cause is “still under investigation.”
The release stated that the driver and front passenger, who were “both properly restrained, sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital.”
However, police state that Preston was seated in the rear but “improperly restrained in a child safety seat.” He was transported to a local hospital, but tragically “later succumbed to his injuries.”
