Justin Bieber has nothing but love for his baby amid her latest venture.
In honor of Hailey Bieber selling her Rhode Beauty brand for $1 billion, her husband shined the spotlight on her. Justin, 31, shared a photo of Hailey in an Instagram post May 28, alongside a screenshot of her announcing the news.
Hailey, who will remain Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation at Rhode, as well as work as a strategic advisor for e.l.f., celebrated the big news and reflected on founding the brand in 2022.
“I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally,” Hailey wrote in a May 28 Instagram post. “So, today I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of rhode.”
Hailey means business with her new venture, as she—along with CEO Nick Vlahos, and her cofounders Lauren Ratner and Michael D. Ratner—acquired $800 million in cash and stock at the deal’s closing, as well as an additional $200 million of potential earnout based on “future growth of the brand over a three-year timeframe.”
Justin’s support from his wife follows his controversial May 20 post celebrating her debut solo Vogue cover. After Hailey was unveiled as the Summer Issue’s cover girl, the “Peaches” singer reflected on past hurtful comments he made.
“I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue,” Justin recalled on Instagram alongside the cover. “For some reason, because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even. I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even.”
Reflecting on that conversation, he added, “We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection.”
Noting that Hailey—who married Justin in 2018, accepted his apology, comma he added, “Baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.”
Hailey—who welcomed her and Justin’s son Jack Blues Bieber in August—reassured the public that despite numerous reports of marriage problems, she and her husband are each other’s biggest fans.
“I’ve learned so much from Justin,” Hailey said in the Vogue interview. “He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.'”
