Jennifer Lopez suffered an accident while preparing for her performance at the upcoming American Music Awards. During the rehearsal, she hit her head, resulting in a cut on her nose.

Specifically, she shared several photos on her Instagram profile showing the moments after the injury. She first posted a photo of herself holding an ice pack to her nose, with the caption: “So… This happened.”

She then showed what the injured area looked like and in her latest post, thanked the doctor who stitched up the wound. “Seven days later and lots of ice – I’m good as new,” she added with a smile.

We remind you that Jennifer has also gone through personal changes this year. Her marriage to actor Ben Affleck ended in early January. The divorce was confirmed by the Los Angeles Superior Court, six months after the singer filed for divorce. The couple reached an amicable settlement through mediation and thus avoided a lengthy court procedure.

Also, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, Lopez said that she broke the news of the divorce to her children, twins Emma and Max, whom she has from her previous marriage to singer Marc Anthony.

“I told them that this would be a difficult time, but I promised them that I would come out stronger after everything. I proved it to them. Today they feel it themselves and it brings me inner peace,” Jennifer concluded.
