Katy Perry has spoken out about the negative online reactions after taking part in a Blue Origin mission, and social media has been flooded with mockery of her.
After returning to Earth on April 23, Perry kicked off her world tour called The Lifetimes and, during a sold-out concert in Chicago, she addressed the title of the most hated person on the internet.
“Well, I thought I was the most hated person on the internet. I don’t think that’s true,” she can be heard saying as the audience applauds and cheers her on.
Perry previously said on Instagram that she is with fans “on this beautiful and wild journey of life.”

“I can still stay true to myself, open-hearted and honest, especially because of our connection. I love you and I grew up with you and I’m so excited to see you all around the world this year!”
Perry assured fans that, despite the negative comments, she was “okay” and had “worked hard to know who she was, what was real, and what was important to her.”
“My therapist told me something a few years ago that changed my life: ‘No one can make you believe something about yourself if you don’t already believe it about yourself,’ and if I ever have feelings related to that, it’s an opportunity to explore the feeling behind it,” she added.
