A Maryland woman who won a $50,000 lottery prize said she has actually won big prizes twice before — and they all happened in mid-April.

The woman from Owings Mills told Maryland Lottery officials that she bought a “Money Bags” scratch-off ticket at Howard’s Pub & Deli in Baltimore County and was thrilled to find out she had won $50,000.

“I buy scratch-off tickets a lot and I usually do well. As we were driving here today, I was thinking about my two biggest wins and realized that both were in April! Now here’s a third. It’s unbelievable,” she said.

The lucky winner said her prizes have increased each time she has won.

“I won a $10,000 prize five years ago and then a $20,000 prize two years ago,” she said.

The latest victory left him stunned, “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I just stood there and watched. I couldn’t wait to go home and show my family.”
