Princess Diana’s protector reveals the trio of mistakes that ended her life

Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, says three critical mistakes led to her tragic death in 1997. Wharfe, who worked closely with Diana from 1987 to 1993, remembers her as a down-to-earth mother with a great sense of humor.

Wharfe highlights the key errors that sealed Diana’s fate:

  1. Dangerous Driver: Henri Paul, who was drunk, was driving the car at high speed. Wharfe believes Diana could have survived if her bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, had been driving instead.
  2. Failed Security Coordination: To avoid paparazzi, Diana and Dodi used decoy cars and did not coordinate with local police, leading to a deadly high-speed chase.
  3. Dismissal of Official Security: After separating from Prince Charles, Diana ended her Scotland Yard protection. Wharfe warned her against this, but she wanted a new life and dismissed the team, leaving her vulnerable.

Wharfe insists that these three mistakes contributed directly to the fatal crash that killed Diana, Dodi Fayed, and Henri Paul.
